There are lots of icons in Quake 3 and its important you know what they mean and where on the map they are. In a 1 vs 1 match control of the weapons, armour, ammunition, will win you the match. All of Quake 3 arenas icons have two forms simple icons on or off. Simple icons need a less powerful computer to display but don`t look as good but have the advantage of being easier to understand.
